VFD Takes Delivery of New Fire Engine

The Muldoon Fire Department just received their new Fouts Brothers FB94 Spartan Engine, with a 1,000 gallon water tank and 1,500 gpm pump. The engine was purchased from Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists out of Houston. Muldoon FD would like to extend their gratitude to Todd Johnson from Metro for his extensive assistance with this purchase.

Locals Loved ‘Clue on Stage’

Burton Powers His Way to State Gold

Last year Flatonia’s Kobe Burton placed second in state in the shot put. He said the runner-up finish fueled him for an entire year, and Friday Burton got his gold, winning the state 2A boys shot put title with a throw of 55-feet, 5.75-inches.

Slavnost Set For May 19 in La Grange

The Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center (TCHCC) in La Grange invites you to a family Sunday Funday filled with music, food, laughter, Czech culture and remembrance during the 23rd Annual Slavnost ‘May Fest’ on May 19.
