Presley’s Power Receives Donations, Continues to Bring Joy to Fighting Families

Marlana Wessels, front, left, recently accepted a donation from the La Grange Optimist Club of money and snacks for Presley’s Power, an organization formed by the family and friends of Presley Belle Frank, after her courageous battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After fighting fearlessly for eight months, Presley died in 2012, at the age of just 14-months-old. Presley’s Power is determined to help bring joy to children and their families as they face the trials and tribulations of their battle with cancer with a goal to provide holiday and comfort baskets full of goodies to these precious children during the fight of their lives.

The La Grange Optimist Club gave a monetary donation to Presley’s Power in which snacks were delivered to Dell Childrens Hospital.

Presley’s Power was able to make a donation to Amber Hanson and her son, David Gooding who is currently battling leukemia and is receiving his treatment at Dell. Pictured left to right; Marlana Fajkus, Jackie Wessels, Amber Hanson, and David Gooding.

The La Grange Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Annunciation No. 1962 made a donation recently to Presley’s Power.

The busy b gift boutique in La Grange made a donation of stuffed animals for Presley’s Power that were delivered to Dell Children’s.
