Randy Tolman Found His Calling With Fayette County Community Theater

In February of 2017 Randy Tolman was the manager of Camp Lost Pines in Warda. The Fayette County Community Theater was just getting started and Tolman landed the role of Rev. Canon Chasuble in the theater’s first play The Importance Of Being Earnest. Randy went on to perform in seven FCCT plays where he filled the roles of nine different characters over the next four years.

In January 2021 Randy’s wife of 52 years passed away in Warda. Randy believes that God left him here for a divine purpose. He married Elizabeth Moreno of Wharton in November 2021 and in January 2023 they left Camp Lost Pines and Fayette County. The Tolman’s moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where they served as pastor of a small church for eight months. In September of 2023 Randy and Elizabeth moved back to Texas where they currently serve as pastor of New Life Harvest Church in Bacliff. The Tolman’s have launched a ministry they call Life After Death Ministry. Over the past 2½ years the Tolman’s have gone to 20 states and three foreign countries sharing their story with others.

Since the early days with FCCT, Randy Jay Tolman has gone on to amass quite a resume in his acting portfolio, including 20 roles in film and TV, five commercials, eight parts in murder mystery shows and two community service projects. His acting has taken him to Texas, New Mexico, Tennessee and Oklahoma. One of his most rewarding roles was when he was privileged to appear in the same movie with his granddaughter, Callie Hope Haverda, who is currently staring as Leia Forman in “That 90’s Show” which will be airing it’s second season on Netflix, June 27. In 2018 Randy played the role of Tex at a birthday party in the feature film titled “The Lost Husband” where Callie played the part of the lead lady’s (Leslie Bibb) daughter.

Randy’s biggest role to date is that of a farmer named Jack in a faith-based film titled “A Law For Christmas,” which was released on DVD last December. He will always be greatly indebted to Fayette County Community Theater for giving a 68 year old man a chance to follow his dream. Randy would like to encourage everyone to never give up on your dreams no matter what obstacles life may put in your path.
