Faith Lutheran High School Holding Spring Raffle -

FLHS spring raffle tickets are now available. Tickets are $20 each. The drawing will be held the week of March 8-12, during National Lutheran Schools Week. There is a limited amount of tickets available. Contact any FLHS delegate, student or staff for tickets. You can also call (979)-242-2889 for tickets.
Trail Life Troop 143
Trail Life Troop 143 is holding a drive-thru hamburger fundraiser on Monday, Feb. 8 at the KC Hall in Giddings. Tickets are $10 each and include a hamburger with all the fixings, chips, drink and homemade dessert. Tickets can be purchased from Benjamin Kueck, Dylan or Weston Beck, Eric Schulze or from Christine in the church office. Proceeds go to the boys Trail Life accounts to help them pay for camps, camping equipment, uniforms etc.
Visit with Family
John and Lisa Gay enjoyed a visit from John’s daughter, Christi, and husband Albert and grandkids, Ciel and Max the weekend of Jan. 23. The grandkids had fun feeding cows, driving the tractor, checking on the guineas and feeding the fish.
Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
Midweek communion service is held the first Wednesday of every month at 9 a.m.

Sewing Circle
The sewing circle is meeting again each Thursday from 9 am to noon in the old fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to join this group.
Bible Study
The Bible Study group class at Holy Cross began Wednesday Jan. 6 for a six-week study and discussion of the book “You’ll Get Through This” by Max Lucado. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Cyndy Zoch at cyndy.zoch@ gmail.com or call (979) 966- 3166 for more information.
