His Weapon Discharged While Secure in Holster; Same Pistol has Been Involved in Similar Incidents Nationwide A La Grange Police Officer suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound last Thursday after his duty weapon discharged while secure in his holster. The pistol, a SIG Sauer P320, has been the subject of several lawsuits due to similar incidents across the nation.

A local man driving a Polaris Ranger utility vehicle succumbed to injuries after a crash with an 18-wheeler in Rek Hill Tuesday, May 14. The wreck happened around 1:48 p.m.
